Food safety at Dad's pies is a priority as part of Dad's
commitment to producing the most Delicious pies in New Zealand.
Initially a HACCP Food Safety program was implemented with external
audits to ensure compliance. In 2004 a fully comprehensive Risk
Management Plan (RMP) was implemented and continues with a monthly
external audit and regular audits by the New Zealand Food Safety
Authority (NZFSA).
Dads Pies Risk Management Program (RMP) is a Food Safety
Standard Program based on New Zealand Animal Products legislation
which is overseen by the NZFSA. This ensures Dads Pies complies to
the strictest safety standards in order to protect the consumer and
to export pies to the international market to ensure that the
optimum quality pies are produced that meet international
standards.
