From a single pie shop on the water’s edge of Red Beach, Dad’s Pies has grown into a nationally pie brand and moved from being a retailer to being a value led organisation, employing over 180 people. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for our new Logistics Leader to join our team in Silverdale.

As the Logistics Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations. Your primary focus will be on efficiently managing the movement of raw materials, intermediate goods, and finished products within the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, supply chain management, and a keen eye for detail to identify and implement improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand’s logistics infrastructure, regulations, and customs procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain software, as well as data analysis tools.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends.
